Can I buy the facelet anywhere else?

Currently, the facelet is only retailed on our website - www.thefacelet.com.

The facelet is a patent-pending product which means other companies are prohibited from copying, changing or reproducing the facelet and it’s logo.

We are currently in talks with a number of manufacturers and retailers with regard to them licensing or reselling the facelet.

At this point in time however, if you see it on sale elsewhere please email us and let us know where it is being sold so that we can ensure any counterfeit products are taken off sale.

Do you sell other designs?

We currently have a range of designs & sizes based on feedback on the product. Whilst some designs are Limited Edition runs - such as our Christmas range - we are working to ensure we have as many designs and sizes in stock at all times.

We are currently working on new facelet designs and would encourage any feedback or even suggestions for the style of facelet you would like to buy - any ideas are welcome by emailing us.

What are the different sizes available?

We currently provide 3 different sizes, small, medium & large. The large size is be suitable for most adult men or larger ladies. The medium size is suitable for most women, smaller men & many teenagers (aged 10-16). The Small size is suitable for children (aged 5-9).

If your facelet is a little too loose on the face you can cross one or both ear loops to tighten the facelet on your face.

Whilst we have completed extensive research on the ideal size mask & elastic to suit both the face and the wrist, the reality is that every person is unique. This is what makes us so special however it makes sizing & fit a very personal thing, with that in mind there are two things we would advise:

• Whilst all facelets can be machine washed at 60ºC & will not shrink, there will always be a little natural stretch in the elastic. If your facelet is a little tight at first we advise to wear it and wash it to see if the elastic becomes a more comfortable fit.

• As all face shapes, sizes and features are different we would often recommend purchasing 2 different sizes of facelet in order to obtain the most comfortable fit. As the facelet is a premium 3-layer face covering, any facelet that you don’t need can be machine washed and gifted to a friend or relative.

Delivery costs and lead time depend on your specific country. Our website will automatically offer you the correct shipping cost & lead time – the good news is that there is only one delivery charge regardless of how many facelets you order:

• UK Shipping costs £3.95 and items should be delivered within 2-5 working days.

• EU Shipping costs £11.95 and items should be delivered within 5-7 working days.

• US & Canada Shipping costs £12.95 and items should be delivered within 5-10 working days.

• Rest of the world Shipping costs £12.95 and items should be delivered within 5-10 working days.

Working days are calculated from the day of order if ordered before 2pm. If ordered after 2pm then working days are calculated from the following working day.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay payments online. Our payment provider Stripe deals with these transactions and no card details are provided to, or held with us. If you have any problems with online payments please contact us

How do I look after my facelet?

All of our face coverings made of are 3-layers which include an anti-bacterial fabric filter sewn in. The (Spunbond) filter is a non-woven polypropylene fabric that is commonly used in a wide variety of applications due to it’s light weight, breathability & excellent barrier filtration capacity which helps to block bacteria from entering or exiting the mouth.

All of our face coverings are machine washable up-to 60 degrees and the antibacterial layer is advised to be good for an estimated 30+ washes. After this time you can still continue to use your face covering or choose to purchase another one with a fresh anti-bacterial layer.

Do not use bleach on or tumble dry your facelet.

What about the packaging?

We are disappointed in the sheer quantity of disposable masks that have been used and discarded over the last 12 months. That fact alone is a huge driver in the design and promotion of the facelet - there must be a better way, there is - reusable face masks.

With that in mind we have also worked to produce packaging that is as environmentally friendly as possible. All facelets are individually wrapped in a sterile environment in fully 100% compostable bags (made from 80% recycled material) and the paper insert is recyclable.

Currently due to shipping requirements we have to use an opaque plastic outer bag which should be recyclable (depending on local recycling centres) however we are working on finding a more sustainable solution to that also.

Will my facelet protect me from COVID-19?

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries around the world have made the wearing of face coverings mandatory or highly recommended. In the UK the latest advice is to wear face coverings where it is difficult to maintain correct social distancing in workplaces, on public transport and in many retail shops and other venues.

It is important to note that the facelet is NOT a medical grade product & whilst it is designed to in some way help prevent the spread of coronavirus through the wearing of face coverings, no guarantees are offered, proven or implied on it’s effectiveness against COVID-19 and other transmitted diseases.

Good hygiene and regular hand-washing as per Government guidelines are recommended to help fight the spread of infectious diseases.
